Channel 4's home page is always changing, and it never seems to look crap. The home image changes on a daily basis. They use great photography in order for the menus to stay in place and work well as an aesthetically pleasing piece of web design... This is what they have provided over the past 2 days.
Started watching the TV show misfits the other day. What a fantastic show, a mixture of horror, comedy and with a sort of comic book super hero story line all set in Britain. Check it out.
Just like a previous post a year or 2 ago I enjoy looking at peoples 'Twitpics' and seeing what pictures they have on their phones... Here are some of Pentagon designs Twitpics... Follow them on twitter = @PentagonDesign.
Si Scott's work is known worldwide now, even by your average Joe Bloggs who has no interest in design what so ever... He's huge! I think it would be rude if I didn't put his work up here though.
For the first project of my 3rd year we were put into groups and given a mentor from the design community in Cardiff, our mentors were Hoffi who are based in Cardiff Bay. We were asked to redesign the interior of Cardiff Airport, working to the brief title: 'A walk on the Welsh side.' Our concept was a narrative journey on full wall screens that took you through the airport using traditional Welsh humor in a quirky way. The project was enjoyable and I was really pleased with the end result being that my team and I gained 2nd place from the other outcomes in the year. (Decided by the judge: Mike from Elmwood.)
