Started watching 'The Ultimate Fighter' season 1 recently, and now I'm hooked.
It's definitely expanded my interest more into mixed martial arts, and now I don't mind sitting down to watch the UFC either.
In the first live bout I watched I saw the well known British UFC star - Dan 'The Outlaw' Hardy.
Unfortunately, (even though you could see he was a very good fighter) he lost, and when asked "What went wrong?" by the post fight interviewer he replied "I got punched in the face." What a legend.
Here's a poster I did about him.

Yet another creative video from Mike Skinner.
It's come to the point where I will confidently say he's far from just being a musician now.
When I watched this and read some of his other posts on The Streets blog site, I wondered, is Mike Skinner actually mentally irregular? He has come a long way since his Original Pirate Material days and I've come to the conclusion that he isn't crazy, but he is that of a genius.

Unfortunately I couldn't make it to the Cardiff Design Festival 'Shine a Light Closing party and award ceremony' this evening.
I'm sure it has turned out to be a wicked evening that I would have thoroughly enjoyed though!
Here's a Sick Boy tribute to the evening of inspiration, celebration and delectation.
My friend Coxy AKA 'Slurrr' phoned me with excitement about these posters he had found today, and told me to have a look at them on his blog.
I'm a huge fan, very nice... Here are 2 of my favorite posters from the selection he showed.

Found this post on the booooooom blog: its a project where 78 creatives were asked to challenge the function of a pair shoes to celebrate the year that the Nike brand started (1978).
The only thing that bugs me is...
In the first image I thought it was a Fred Perry campaign not a Nike campaign, until I realized that t was a pair of cut up trainers on the models face... anyone else see that?

Branded a company over the summer called 'Busy Cleaning', I designed the logo, stationary, and an A4 Matt Laminate folder with inserts to go with the new brand...
Best / Biggest piece in my portfolio to date.
Very proud... For full view of this project I will be more than happy to send you my portfolio, just send me an email.

While on my friends blog - Black Maths he posted how he came across the 'Fubiz' blog and how they had pictures of the Facebook head office.
Since I'd written an essay on Facebook back in my second year on the course I just had to have a nose, and see how the employees of the largest social network in the world work... Turn table decks with the Facebook logo on them? - Says it all really... Good spot Gaz!

Had the annual BA Graphic Communication pub golf last night.
It's a night where we (all members of the BAGC course), take a small break from our studies and all go out as a large group of golfers (Year 1 to 3), in order to get to know each other and have a laugh... It was a good night.
You never know, the next Peter Saville or Neville Brody could be in one of these pictures.

After my first meeting with Hoffi (my mentors for my current uni project), I was very impressed with the way they set out their studio.
One of the things I picked up on was a large mood board they had on the wall for a current project they are working on.
I've decided to try out their working method out on this current project I'm working on, and here's what I came up with.
Check out more of Hoffi's work here.

This is a slightly different post...
Here are a couple of great design agencies/blogs with some 'out there' names.
These are a very small percentage of what is out there in the design world.
The best thing about being in the creative industry is, you can get away with doing things that other professions would not find acceptable.
That's why I love it.
