Becks Bottles

I've had these Becks bottles since the middle of my 2nd year in uni, and it's only now I've come around to posting about them. They were part of an anti racism campaign promoted by Hard Fi, a band who have had many of their clever cover sleeves designed by Peter Saville. I kept these bottles because I think they are wicked.

This isn't really design related, but...
I have a new kitten, his name his 'Hector', he's basically a mini me version of my bigger cat 'Garfield'.
(They're still at the 'getting to know each other' stage).

I was watching some repeats of Mr. Bean on TV the other night when I noticed there was a man reading creative review in it. Thought it was something I had to throw up here.
Mr. Bean was my ultimate favorite show when I was younger, and he used to put me in fits of laughter throughout the show... He still does now.
Here he was pretending to be a hair dresser so he could get rid of the customers in front of him to shorten time waiting for his turn. Fantastic.

Underwater Base Jump

Found this amazing video of Guillaume Nery base Jumping at Dean's Blue Hole.
It was filmed on a breath hold by Julie Gautier.
Great film and some stunning stills to go with it.

Sick and his dog

Here's a design collaboration I did with my mother.
When she had a free minute from illustrating the childrens book shes working on, she drew me the shape of sick's body and his dog (based on my dog Kassie).
i then proceeded to scan them in and work on the colouring etc.
This is the outcome.

Peter Saville designs new England shirt

I love a bit of fashion design, I find it quite interesting, and when I read on the CR Blog that Peter Saville was behind the new look England jersey I just had to post about it.
It's been inspired by the old school shirts that the England team used to wear, and it's looking swish.
See what Peter Saville has to say about it here.
