Panda

-
After seeing a panda on an advert I ended up doing this.
It has no meaning or reason, and isn't even that nice, but there's something about it that lets it sit quite nicely on SickBoy, inc.

Arcade Fire HTML5 Video

-
Here's what it is:
Choreographed windows, interactive flocking, custom rendered maps, real-time compositing, procedural drawing, 3D canvas rendering... this Chrome Experiment has them all. "The Wilderness Downtown" is an interactive interpretation of Arcade Fire's song "We Used To Wait" and was built entirely with the latest open web technologies, including HTML5 video, audio, and canvas.
You have to see it to believe it.Very Cool.

Dadcu Tremain

-
Here's a fantastic photograph of my great grandfather (Dadcu Tremain) taken in the 80's, not long before he died.
I think it's a great portrait.

Tattoo Design

-
When I was 15 I designed my first tattoo for a class mate (top), I didn't charge or anything because it was a doodle I drew in the corner of my work book during a Media Lesson. She later told me she regreted the tattoo a couple of years later... Ah well, she must be gutted.
Here are some other designs I've done for people since then.
(These people are happy with my work).

London iPhoneography

-
Went to London for the day yesterday and half way there I remembered that I had forgot to take my camera - My dispiritedness was at a maximum high until I paused, thought creatively, and had the genius idea to dabble in a bit of iPhonography.
Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to do everything I wanted to do while I was there, because of the size of the city, but I really enjoyed none the less.
Here are some of the shots from the day.

Paper From 1938

-
Another find down in Cardigan was old news papers that dated back to June 30th 1938 - A year before my Grandfather was even born.
The first article covers the story of boxer Benny Lynch knocking out Jackie Jurich in the 12th round.
The second article is a 'Cadburys Nut Chocolate' advert, showing illustrations of the chocolate bars rather than images or conceptual ideas of a Gorilla banging a drum kit.
Interesting find.

50's 60's

-
I went down to my Great Grandfathers old house in Cardigan on the weekend to help lug some old furniture around.
When I went to do my usual snooping around in the old draws and cupboards I came across a pile of old pictures and one of the ones that stood out to me was this one of my grandfather when he was younger.
He said he was relaxing with his friends in this photo, and it just screamed typical 50's / 60's photography to me, a bit like a photo you would find the Kray Twins in.
(My Grandfather is the 2nd one in from the left.)
