Channel 4

Channel 4's home page is always changing, and it never seems to look crap.
The home image changes on a daily basis.
They use great photography in order for the menus to stay in place and work well as an aesthetically pleasing piece of web design... This is what they have provided over the past 2 days.

Nike 78

Found this post on the booooooom blog: its a project where 78 creatives were asked to challenge the function of a pair shoes to celebrate the year that the Nike brand started (1978).

The only thing that bugs me is...

In the first image I thought it was a Fred Perry campaign not a Nike campaign, until I realized that t was a pair of cut up trainers on the models face... anyone else see that?

Here's what it is:
Choreographed windows, interactive flocking, custom rendered maps, real-time compositing, procedural drawing, 3D canvas rendering... this Chrome Experiment has them all. "The Wilderness Downtown" is an interactive interpretation of Arcade Fire's song "We Used To Wait" and was built entirely with the latest open web technologies, including HTML5 video, audio, and canvas.
You have to see it to believe it.Very Cool.

Denim's big new shape?

I bought a pair of these 'drop crotch' Levi's this time last year.
Had a couple of comments on them, regarding how low the crotch was etc, but now they seem to be one of the 'must have items' on asos.com/
I love being one step ahead of the game.

We Are Build

I have a new favorite design agency.
I found them while watching the 'Helvetica' film, and I had to put it on pause straight away to look up who they were after seeing some pieces of their work.
When Mihael C Place / Build came on the screen, I had a feeling his work would reflect his surroundings, with his Japanese toys neatly placed on the shelves behind him and cool trainers lined up on a nice wooden floor, and I was right.
The first piece of work he showed was the 'On/Off' poster - (That's when I had to put the film on pause).
I don't need to say any more because their work speaks for itself.

I'm currently doing a placement with them this summer, and I'm really enjoying it.
This site is a personal favorite of mine, because I just love everything about it, from the Browns and Blues to the layout itself.
They have loads of other great pieces in their portfolio, including print and video.

Has it come to this....

Now The Street's "Beat Stevie" has been around for quite a while now, and I like the way it works.

It has had a mini show on Channel 4 and has constant shows on the tinterweb, mainly showing on Youtube.

Its nice since The Streets have always had originality on their side, which is important in the world of media.

In my opinion lets get a Sick Boy, Inc. "web show" going, haha!
