I LOVE this piece, it was designed by Gareth Dunt, a former student on my course who graduated with a (1st class hons).
He's a designer who is very aware of his design surroundings and always seems to be ahead of 'whats in' when it comes to design, very influential.
This was his entry for the D&AD graphic design awards.
The scheme used a laser cut slipcase as a marker to superimpose user-created digital content onto the front cover of the book, creating new ways for young literate creatives to interact with traditional print media. Read more.
